Born Jewish, currently atheist (but I still celebrate Hanukkah with my mother), and I honestly couldn't care less what a card says. It's the meaning behind it that is important to me, unless someone was actively trying to convert me by sending ..... I have gotten Chanukah cards for Jewish friends and from Jewish friends, I've gotten Christmas cards for and from Christian friends. I tend to send a generic holiday card, and I tend to write "have a wonderful holiday season", ...
